Diamond is one of the most expensive stones, used widely for making jewelry. Ornaments made from this precious stone are much costlier and the piece of jewel worn emits shine, which looks great. The shine that is emitted by this stone comes because of polishing this stone with diamond dressers. These are the industrial tools used to sharpen different dressing devices. The diamond when mined comes in two specifications. Diamonds having a proper specification is employed for making jewelry. On the other hand, the stones that fail to meet the characteristics and measurement required are sent to industries for manufacturing different types of industrial tools from it. These stones are then processed further to make tools, which are used for cutting and sharpening metal and other substances. The cut, which a diamond tool provides is much sharper and require less manual effort.

Dressing tools can be either a single point or a multiple point tool. A single point tool is the most commonly used device in industries. Some special agents, other than water, are used to convert it into glue like form. This paste is then filled in syringe to use in precise applications. Syringe is used so that the material filled can easily be used in different applications. Moreover, it is very important to control the amount of paste of filled substance to use it for sharpening work; hence, the process of polishing any substance using this material is performed carefully.

Diamond powder on the other hand, is made by crushing diamond into very tiny pieces known as microns. The process employed for getting powder from this stone is known as micronization. This is a complex industrial process that starts with breaking down diamond molecules into small pieces. By employing this process, finely crushed diamond is obtained.
